I used photoshop to edit my photos before I put them onto my paper in indesign.
Each photo I used required a different level of editing depending of where it would be on the paper and depending on the size of it.
When editing the photo on the bench I used to magic want tool to take away the back ground so that I was justd left with a clear plain image. I also in doing this used the lasoo tool to get a clear poilished finish of the photo when eliminating the background, it enabled me to take away the background without taking any of the body parts or parts of the bench away from it.
When edieiting the main photo for my front cover I editied the contrast and the lighting of the photo, I did this due to the time of day I took the picture and duw to the lighting of the room. I needed to enhance the lighting of the picture so it was brighter and would give a more appealing finish the the pictue.
When editing the inside picture of the bowls game I had to edit the brightness of the photo due to not being able to use the flash origionaly. I think that through doing this I was able to improve the finished look of the pictue, however I still feel that the finished look of the picture was still lacking in quality.
When editing all the pictures the main tool I used was the crop tool. This enbable me to edit and cut away any unwanted sections of the image, and also allowed me the ability to zoom in on exact elements of the pictures.
As I had never used photo shop before I found it quite challenging to use, and before using it I tried to use paint to edit my main cover photo. I found that I was limited on paint as I was only able to crop the photo and not change other elements needed so I chose to use photoshop in order to get a better finished image for my paper.
I also found that through familiarising myself with the tools that I was able to improve my knowledge and finished look of my photos.
