Using indesign

The document used for my paper is indesign, this layout is being used as it gives a variety of format and layout options and allows alot of freedom in these areas.
I had never had to use this software before so I was at first confused by the different elements that I had to concider to make my paper. I also used this software to make my poster advertising my product.

A key element to the softeware that I used was layering. I used the layering system throughout all three peices (front cover, inside page, poster) in order to achieve the correct elements and conventions of a newspaper.
Through using the layering I was able to get a clear idea of how my paper should look and I was able to keep track of what I had or needed to include in my paper. It also gave me the freedom to move around objects and to isolate certain elements through using the lock and eye keys associalted with the layering.

I also found that through using indesign I was given alot of freedom in the presentation and finsihed look of my product from the choices of fonts, collums and colour options given.
